Norfolk.

To say the UK was a bit of an adjustment from Greece is an understatement. I went from 32 degree weather and living the Contiki island hopping party lifestyle to the quaint farm lands in Norfolk, an hour or so outside of Norwich with my cousin and her two young kids. It was amazing. After being on my own at this point for over two months, it was exactly what I needed to ground myself and let myself recover to soak in what I had done up to this point in my trip. I am a family girl, and traveling all alone for this long without anyone around me got tough at some points, so to see family that I'm really close with was such a blessing. My cousin is a world class traveler, her and her husband live here in the UK for 6 months of the year, and then get up and travel for 6 months of the year and have done this for as long as I can remember. It was so nice getting to hear her advice and insight on traveling whilst getting to spend time with the kids. (she's also written a book on her travels, which she gave to me whilst I was here.
