Exploring Vancouver: Granville Island

IMG_2865-21.jpg
This weekend I had the privilege to head out with my teacher and a few of my classmates down to Granville Island to shoot for a few hours and just explore. I headed out with the goal of shooting Granville Island from the intimate details people might not always see, and thought I would share with you all some of the photos I took. I had forgotten how much I love it here, and want to go back on a less crowded day (A sunny sunday at noon - Yikes!) and explore some more.
Me at the start of our day - Cameraception
Through the branches to the storage shed
Fresh produce in the market
Teacher at worl
Cutest and friendliest puppy ever
Hidden oyster shells under a restaurants menu
A pirate's life for me
Starting to look lived in and abused quite quickly.
"Yes take a picture of her please! Send them to me."
The tantalizing fruit in the market
Hidden mailboxes down the docks
Totem poles

Curious little lights in the alley
Backpacks for the wise
My little lunch buddy

Those are just some of the hundreds of photos I took, but I quite enjoyed myself! I want to go out and explore my city more and see what BC has to offer, because I truly think I live in the most beautiful place on earth.
xoxo,
